 In the 1990s, religious fundamentalists, the Taliban, took over Afghanistan. Following that period, the story is set in Iran. Baran is the name of the heroine, and it is a simple love story. In the Afghani language, Baran means rain, which perfectly symbolizes the grammar of love. Rain does not speak, but it conveys a cooling and prospering feeling that makes you fall in love.
